ATL Plus Entertainment Exclusive: “Don’t Say Nothing” Is Streaming Today on Tubi

Some truths are louder than words, and in the new thriller *Don’t Say Nothing*, silence may be the most dangerous thing of all.

Streaming today on Tubi, *Don’t Say Nothing* introduces audiences to a tense story built around fear, survival, intimidation and the consequences of witnessing something that was never meant to be seen. Written, directed and executive produced by CorShonda “CoCo” Springer, the film follows a man with non-verbal PTSD who witnesses a brutal murder from his apartment. Unable to simply report what he saw, he quickly discovers that remaining silent will not protect him or the woman he loves.

The danger begins to close in almost immediately. Anonymous threats escalate, fear spreads and what initially appears to be one violent act begins to reveal something much larger. The apartment complex around him is governed by an unspoken but deadly rule: “Don’t say nothing.” It is a warning, a threat and a code designed to keep people quiet regardless of what they have witnessed.

For the man at the center of the story, silence is not a simple choice. His inability to communicate verbally creates another layer of vulnerability as he tries to make sense of what happened and protect himself from the people determined to keep the truth buried. His wife soon becomes a target as well, forcing the couple to confront a reality where doing nothing may be just as dangerous as speaking out.

That tension gives *Don’t Say Nothing* its central conflict. How do you survive when the people around you are counting on your fear? What happens when someone knows you witnessed a crime but assumes you cannot tell anyone? And how far will people go to make sure the truth never reaches the outside world?

The film stars Jason C. Louder, Chantal Maurice, Jarrett Michael Collins, Harold Outley and Lester Greene, bringing together a cast with backgrounds across television, film, theater and independent productions.

Jason C. Louder is an Atlanta native whose acting journey began in 2009. His work has taken him from the stage to television, film and voice-over projects, with credits that include *The Inspectors*, *Simran* and the Adidas “Sport Needs You” national campaign. His career has been shaped by continued study, experimentation and a commitment to performance, making him a strong fit for a story that depends heavily on emotion, physical expression and the weight of what cannot be said aloud.

Chantal Maurice is an actress and writer from Columbia, South Carolina. She is known for work that includes *Grey’s Anatomy*, *Wicked City* and *Them*. Her experience across television and film adds another established presence to the production. In *Don’t Say Nothing*, the relationship between husband and wife is central to the danger unfolding around them, placing emotional pressure on both characters as the situation becomes increasingly threatening.

Jarrett Michael Collins is an actor, writer and filmmaker from Dayton, Ohio whose career has been built around emotionally grounded storytelling. His acting credits include *Tainted Waters*, the BET+ holiday film *Christmas Ringer* and the television series *Johnson*. Beyond acting, Collins has also worked as a creator and coach, helping build The BookingRoom ATL as a space for actors at different stages of their careers to develop their skills. His work reflects a continued interest in stories centered on resilience, identity, relationships and community.

Behind the project is CorShonda “CoCo” Springer, who serves as executive producer, writer and director. Springer is known for *Don’t Say Nothing*, *The Homecoming* and *The Hills*. Through CoCo Studios, she has continued developing character-driven stories that focus on real-life experiences, emotional conflict and people whose voices may otherwise go unheard.

With *Don’t Say Nothing*, Springer takes that approach into the thriller genre. The film’s concept uses suspense and danger to explore a larger idea surrounding silence. The title itself carries more than one meaning. “Don’t say nothing” is the rule used to maintain control inside the story, but the film also raises questions about what happens when fear becomes powerful enough to keep entire communities quiet.

The story is particularly effective because the threat is not distant. It exists within the same apartment complex where the characters are supposed to feel safe. Home becomes a place of uncertainty. Windows, hallways, staircases and neighboring apartments take on a different meaning when danger could be watching from only a few feet away. The setting creates a sense of confinement, leaving the couple with fewer places to turn as the criminal closing in on them becomes more aggressive.

The film’s central character also challenges the assumption that someone without a conventional voice is powerless. His circumstances may make communication more difficult, but the story places survival, observation and determination at the center of his fight. His silence becomes part of the suspense, but it does not erase his agency.

That makes *Don’t Say Nothing* more than a straightforward crime thriller. It is also a story about what people do when they are pushed into a corner and forced to decide how much they are willing to risk for the truth.

For Springer, the film adds another project to a growing body of work centered on authentic storytelling and independent filmmaking. As executive producer, writer and director, she carries responsibility for the film from concept through execution, helping establish the tone, characters and message behind the story.

The release also gives audiences another opportunity to discover independent filmmakers and performers working within Atlanta’s expanding film community. With its mix of suspense, emotional pressure and a premise rooted in secrecy, *Don’t Say Nothing* is designed to keep viewers questioning who can be trusted and what will happen if the truth finally comes out.
